Throwback of the Day: 2pac - Dear Mama

So in light of Mother's Day this past Sunday and my mom being out in the Philippines, I decided to make this track my throwback of the day. Off his third solo album, Me Against The World, "Dear Mama" is an ode to Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur, who can also be caught in the beginning of the video flipping through an old photo album. The track was produced by Tony Pizarro and contains a sample off of acclaimed jazz musician Joe Sample's "In All My Wildest Dreams". Pac lets it all out and conveys his gentler side on this heart-felt track about his mother. Loved the feel of this one right here and still do. Check it and leave a comment.
