So I get home from work one day, and a dude that I don't recognize is coming out of the house where I rent the bottom floor out of. Tall dude, fitted black on black Boston Red Sox on(boo), locks the door and approaches me. We exchange our "what-up's" and engage in a conversation where we realize that both of us are aspiring hip-hop artists. I'm more like "yeah, ok...another rapper" but it turns out that Boston-native G-eyez is pretty damn nice on the mic. No homo. Since his arrival, we have gotten up a couple of times to build about this whole music thing and he's actually a pretty cool dude that's on the grind heavy which I respect. He is the co-CEO of Respect and Power Records alongside hip hop producer J.Cardim (Joe Buddens, Jae Millz, Lil Wayne just to name a few) and is a part of the camp Dice Music. His first mixtape (which is more like an album) is entitled It's Only The Beginning and features the likes of Termanology, Certified G'z and beats by J.Cardim. Also hosted by Statik Selektah. The dude's got skills so I thought I'd show him some support and put him on my blog for y'all to check him out. Kinda ill the way he came to JC (Jersey City) in the same house that I'm currently staying at too. You can expect a G-eyez/Ron Verbal collabo sometime in the near future without a doubt. Check his myspace out and leave some feedback.
