How's "yalife"?

My cousin A Lesser Evil has been steadily makin' a name for himself in the streets of NY. This one right here is a little glimpse of his latest piece as of right now on the t-shirt game. The "yalife" t-shirt is definitely a got-to-have piece in your wardrobe. Still waitin' on mine actually. I better have one set off to the side. Lol. Shit is definitely tough though. Big up to the homey AJ.

New Track "Seen It All"

As most of you know, I've been working diligently on the long awaited Product of Hip Hop EP/Mixtape. Don't know what to call it as of right now. One thing I can call it is some good, fuckin' music and a heavy emphasis on the fuckin'. This track here is for all my hip-hop heads out there deprived of some good, old fashioned hip hop music. The track is produced by Hannibal King which also produced a couple other joints on the tape. So without further a due, here's a little preview of what's to come...

"Oh, another rapper.."

So I get home from work one day, and a dude that I don't recognize is coming out of the house where I rent the bottom floor out of. Tall dude, fitted black on black Boston Red Sox on(boo), locks the door and approaches me. We exchange our "what-up's" and engage in a conversation where we realize that both of us are aspiring hip-hop artists. I'm more like "yeah, ok...another rapper" but it turns out that Boston-native G-eyez is pretty damn nice on the mic. No homo. Since his arrival, we have gotten up a couple of times to build about this whole music thing and he's actually a pretty cool dude that's on the grind heavy which I respect. He is the co-CEO of Respect and Power Records alongside hip hop producer J.Cardim (Joe Buddens, Jae Millz, Lil Wayne just to name a few) and is a part of the camp Dice Music. His first mixtape (which is more like an album) is entitled It's Only The Beginning and features the likes of Termanology, Certified G'z and beats by J.Cardim. Also hosted by Statik Selektah. The dude's got skills so I thought I'd show him some support and put him on my blog for y'all to check him out. Kinda ill the way he came to JC (Jersey City) in the same house that I'm currently staying at too. You can expect a G-eyez/Ron Verbal collabo sometime in the near future without a doubt. Check his myspace out and leave some feedback.

Snoop Dogg – Gangsta Luv (Mayer Hawthorne G-Mix)

So maybe around this time last year, a couple of my peoples (Jay Encite being the first) put me up on this cat Mayer Hawthorne. A smooth, laid back cat with vocal stylings that can take you back to an era of music where harmonies were essential to the feel of a track. A Strange Arrangement was definitely a must-have album of 09'. Here the hip Hawthorne puts his swag on Snoop's "Gangsta Luv". Diggin' this one right here..

Un-thinkable remix

radiotakeover copy
Ok so now that I got the intro out the way it's down to B-I-Z ness. I was listening to the Alicia Keys album and came across the Un-thinkable (I'm ready) track and thought the beat was crazy dope. So I hit the studio up and decided to put my little twist on it. Oh yeah, this is also one of the tracks off the "Radio Takeover" tape set to be released in the near future.

Introduction to the blogworld

So I've been thinking to myself... What can I do in order to get my goals accomplished in this music business without actually having my own website...yet?? CREATE A BLOG!!! It's been suggested to me by a number of colleagues within this industry and I finally came to the conclusion that the best way to get out there and put my thoughts out into space would be this.. the "blogworld". Forgive me if I don't follow the correct formats or protocols but I am a newcomer so cut me some slack. On this blog will be posted personal thoughts, new music- from myself and others artists, artwork, and opinions on pretty much whatever I come across or comes to mind. The mind of Mr. Ron Verbal is complex and probably an enigma to mostly everybody so with that said.... Welcome to the blog of Ron Verbal.. Peace.. One. ---- This should be interesting.
